Fire Resistance.
Glazing is fire-rated
High Impact Resistance.
Glazing meets the impact safety requirements of CPSC 16CFR1201 Cat II (400 fpi)
Heat Transfer Resistance.
Glazing acts as a barrier to radiant or conductive heat
Energy Efficiency.
Insulated glazing unit (lGU) meets - energy code requirements
Thermal Shock Resistance.
Glazing passes the "hose stream" portion of the fire test. Note: Glazing not able to pass the "hose stream" test may collapse from the frame if subjected to thermal shock, e.g., when cooled by water from a sprinkler or fire hose
     
 

FireLite® is a fire-rated glazing material. It is listed for use in non impact safety-rated locations such as transoms and borrowed lites with fire rating requirements ranging from 20 to 90 minutes.

  FireLite® NT, a more economical version of a fire-rated and impact safety-rated glazing material. is composed of FireLite and high performance surface-applied 3M Scotchshield Ultra Film. It is listed for use in doors, sidelites, transoms and borrowed lites with fire rating requirements ranging from 20 minutes to 3 hours.*

FireLite® is a laminated, fire-rated and impact safety-rated glazing material. It is listed for use in doors, sidelites, transoms and borrowed lites with fire rating requirements ranging from 20 minutes to 3 hours.

  Fire-rated or fire/impact safety-rated insulated glass units (IGU) that will also comply with energy codes. FireLite® IGU is composed of FireLite products and various types of tempered or annealed float glass. It is listed for use in fire-rated applications with ratings from 20 minutes to 3 hours* (3 hour rated units available with FireLite Plus and FireLite NT only)

Pilkington Pyrostop is a fire-rated and impact safety-rated glazing material. Pyrostop also blocks heat, protecting people and valuables on the non-fire side of the glass where heat transfer might be a concern. It is listed for use in doors, sidelites, transoms, borrowed lites and wall applications with a fire rating of up to 2 hours. Now available as an IGU for energy code compliance.
 
Fireglass20® is a fire-rated and impact safety-rated glazing material. It is listed for use in applications with a fire rating requirement of 20 minutes (without hose stream test).
     
 

*up to 3 hours for doors, 90 minutes for other applications
